A Celebration of Color and Design at Opustone Fort Lauderdale

Designer Dish

Last Thursday, our Fort Lauderdale showroom welcomed guests to an evening dedicated to creativity, color, and connection, in collaboration with The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Benjamin Moore. From inspiring showroom installations to interactive design activations, every corner of the event was curated with color.

One of the highlights of the evening was a live color analysis experience provided by The Outfit Curator, where guests enjoyed personalized sessions to discover the palette and season that best complemented their unique features. Meanwhile, live music by John Mercier set the tone, and Sidecar Kitchen kept the crowd well-fed with a beautiful spread of bites and drinks, including our signature cocktail of the evening, the Cinnamon Slate, named after Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year.

Speaking of which: Cinnamon Slate was the star of the night. Throughout the showroom, guests explored how to pair this moody, versatile shade with a variety of Opustone slabs and tiles. From subtle pairings to bold contrasts, swatches were placed next to our stones to showcase real-life applications and spark new ideas.

Guests were also invited to build their custom palettes using Benjamin Moore’s Color Capture Tool. With guidance from expert sales team, tours through the slab gallery demonstrated how designers can use the tool to draw color inspiration directly from our materials.

To round out the evening, Opustone was honored with an ASID award for our contribution to the Celebration of Color and Design, a recognition we’re proud to share with our amazing design community.

We know you’ve got FOMO, so consider this your sign to stop by one of our South Florida showrooms. The inspiration’s real, and it’s waiting for you in every step you take.
